Hey there! I’m Tara. I like long walks…. oh, come on! :-D

Ok, should we start with the boring stuff? Cool! I’m a registered nurse and certified: health coach, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. I’m also the lady behind SnugBug Fitness - the original babywearing and pregnancy exercise classes.

The truth is, I’m a bit of a science + health nerd. Always was. However, it hasn't always been smooth-sailing for me. I have struggled with PCOS (shared deets during this PCOS event), pre-diabetes, food sensitivities, asthma, infertility, digestive issues, and all the frustration that came with my own health being sub-par. Becoming a mama to my two kiddos (via IVF) was just the kick in the butt I needed to turn around my own health through a series of nutrition, fitness, and upgraded lifestyle habits. While my kiddos were both conceived via IVF, I have since been able to reverse my health issues without medication. Important to note: this is not to say no one needs medication, but I am very grateful that a holistic approach worked well for me. I was interviewed on this podcast about my natural healing journey.



I live on Long Island in NY with these wild + adorable little humans and my hilarious husband, Joe. We try to take full advantage of all seasons - beachin’ it in the summer, hikes whenever the ticks somewhat leave us alone, and snowboarding and snowperson-building when Mother Nature decides to surprise us with the white stuff. Although, I am not a skilled snowperson-builder. Any tips? They always look really…pathetic.


Tapping into the power of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits…well that is in my wheelhouse. I can’t imagine doing anything else for a living besides helping other people get their groove back, too. So, I have dedicated my career to helping others turn their own health (and lives) around so that they can feel vibrant, energized, and ready to take on the world! I help others boost their metabolism so they can achieve their body composition goals while being able to eat an enviable amount of food. I teach people how their bodies use and store food so they can make informed choices rather than reading off of a list of foods they “can’t eat” (that’s not my thang). And while my clients are achieving their fat loss and muscle-building goals, they’re improving their health and their relationship with food and their bodies.
