St. Patrick's Day PFF Smoothies

In 5 days, for 24 hours, we're all Irish




Maybe you have your dinner planned ... corned beef + cabbage? Planning to have a Guinness? Maybe you're making or buying Irish soda bread? Or maybe you're just gonna make 1 green thing to consume that day and share with your family and call it a successfully festive day. That's where I come in.



I made this St. Patrick's Day PFF Smoothie collection last year, but added 1 new recipe to it this year and wanted to reshare.  All smoothies are balanced with protein, fat, fiber and intentional carbs for fat loss and health optimization goals. :-)

Summer Smoothies

Hey there,

Surprise! Today I wanted to share my new collection of summer smoothie recipes with you.

Smoothies are one of my favorite ways to get in extra nutrition as a meal replacement or snack. You'll notice each of the recipes is for one serving, but feel free to bump that up so you have some to share....or pour into ice pop moulds for a quick dessert!

My suggestion? Pick one or two of these to try this week. Add the ingredients to your grocery list and jot down a quick meal plan for the next few days or week.

Did you know that when you wait until it's time to eat to decide what you'll have, your primal brain takes over? That's why it becomes much harder to choose something healthy in the moment.

Instead, by planning your meals at least 24 hours (or more) beforehand, you can tap into your pre-frontal cortex (your "human" superpower brain) and make decisions based on your long-term goals.

You deserve to set yourself up for a win!

After School Smoothie Routine

We're heading into the fourth-ish week of school here in New York and at this point, we've changed up our routine quite a bit to accommodate a 3.75 year-old who is now in preschool in the afternoons.  This beautiful child of mine is usually TIRED and HUNGRY!  If not hungry, she's "starving".  Did I mention how hungry she is? Yikes!  I'm assuming she'll be going up a size…or 5…soon with the way she's been putting back food lately.

In this video, I talk about how we're satisfying her hunger, specifically after-school, without skimping on the veggies she so badly needs.
